This is a very special book. It is an invaluable resource for controlling stress; diabetes-related stress and the stress we all live with, even if we don’t have diabetes.
Stress-Free Diabetes is filled with strategies and tips to help you master the stresses of day-to-day life with diabetes. One of my favorite chapters is “The Power of Humor”.

I thank you Dr. Napora for addressing many issues that deal with the ability to cope and control diabetes management. Stress is a villian to many people living with diabetes and their efforts to maintain good control. Many humorours stories are introduced and he makes it clear how important humor is in dealing with stress and how important it is to be mindfull when dealing with many situations that can occur.
I wish this book had been availble 30 years ago when I was faced with caring for family members living with Typle I and Type II diabetes.
How lucky we are now to be able to read this personable and informative self-help book that can be helpful in so many ways. I especially am glad that it is available as I am now trying to control my blood sugar levels.
It will be used as reference to all of us when the need is there.
This book is by far the best book I've read on stress! Dr. Naporo gives very specific ways for you to incorporate mindful thinking to reduce the stress in your life. It is easy to follow and use his techniques. This book was so valuable to me that I underlined important techniques that I can reread . I have been a diabetic for 17 years and started using these techniques and way of thinking right away. You will definitely benefit greatly if you purchase this book.
